Candlesticks

Wedgwood/Kings Lynn Glass 1967 to 1992

RSW 13 Sheringham, RSW 22 Sandringham and RSW 15 Brancaster Candlesticks designed for Kings Lynn in 1967 by Ronald Stennett-Willson. Colours included Amethyst, Topaz, Green, Blue, Flint, Saphire and Alexandrite.

Sheringham Candlesticks have between 1 and 9 rings. The 7 and 9 rings are rare, as they were more difficult to make. However those with 4,6 and 8 rings are particularly rare as they were not standard production pieces. This design was awarded the Queens Award for industry in 1967.

Sandringham

The elegant and delicate thin stemmed Sandringham colours included Amethyst, Topaz, Green, Blue, Flint, Saphire and Alexandrite. The sizes could best be said to be small medium and extra large, as ther are variances in the exact height.

Brancaster

Brancaster candlesticks have a hollow stem and come in 3 sizes - small, medium and large. Colours included Amethyst, Topaz, Green, Blue, Flint, Saphire and Pink, and one or two variations of these colours.
